I love this picture of the Kettle. We are part of a neighborhood that shares a 6 slot pier on the Kettle. I think this is about where the picture was taken.
The kids in our neighborhood are creating a nature walking path of unique plants and trees that are just found in the bog off the Kettle. For example, the pine to the far left in your picture is called a tamarack tree which is only found in a bog. Would you be interested in taking pictures for us? Please let me know.
