The Travelodge we were staying at had only been open for six weeks. There was one shop open literally underneath the window whihc sol luggage. Apart from that - everything was brand spanking new from the tunnel at the far end, coming this way. At the other side of the tunnel the place was, as we Scots say, 'hoachin' with people everywhere! A busy place. It was really quiet in this bit - only thing that killed it was the constant tannoy announcement that the Outlet was open until 8pm on a Wednesday night...right outside the window, coz it echoed with being empty!!!
