It was Marilyn, I love these walled gardens, unfortunately the sun only came out for a short while as is the norm this year. There were plenty of photo opportunities here but you need permission to take photo's in the Hall. Kind regards, Anita

Hi Anita, Sorry i was a bit late getting back to you. I have never been here, so much to my shame! There are so many places I would love to see. Since my husband died I have tried to be more confidant driving on my own! With my sister-in-law giving me a big nudge in the ribs, I have started going for days out with her and getting used to being in control!! There are so many places I would love to see, and when I see the photos on here I get more determined! I will get there Anita!!

To my delight, having ventured through this inviting entrance, I discovered the most perfect English walled garden. Beautiful herbaceous borders and formal beds, the air sweetly scented with the heady fragrance from a plethora of summer blooms.. Memorable. Thanks for the memory jog Anita.---Jim

That's very poetical Jim and so true, although much of the garden was passed it's best when we went, it was still very beautiful. The last time we were there they were just starting to renovate the wall garden, I must say they have done a wonderful job. Kind regards, Anita
