Thank you Elemér, for your visit and very kind compliment! Ez a July teliholdunk volt, ami éppen emelkedik.

And Tony as well - this was a lucky shot, as I was not prepared when the moon began to show, so had to scramble to get set up. Thanks for your visit and comments!

Séan I'm so glad you like my big red full moon. It quickly lost its low horizon color, and I'm not sure what the banding is - possibly clouds? - but they disappeared as well.

Many thanks to each of you, alicia

Just looked at it again on full screen alicia and it's even better :-) the detail is excellent, the banding is beautiful and the blue sea stunning too.

Great shot...

Séan.

Hello again Séan and thank you for the delightful surprise revisit. I wish that all panoramio photos would appear on first 'click' as the full-size versions, as most of them are not done justice in the thumbnails or even the 1st click size. This was a very quiet and beautful full-moon evening on the Puget Sound and I'm very glad that you can experience it through the photo ;). Cheers, alicia

Belated greetings, Tom and thank you for your critique and visit. This was a lucky exposure - it just happened to work out that the moon didn't get overexposed as it so often does. Maybe because it was such a dark orange so low in the sky. A wonderful night it was. Best, alicia

Thank you, very belatedly but sincerely, mossip, Liviu and Basili, for your visits and positive comments. I've been away awhile from panoramio but am delighted to be back and see you visiting my moon. Basili, he olvidado si usted sabe inglés o no (mi español es pobre) - le agradezco tanto por su comentario bueno. Mi contestación es tardía pero bien-pensada.

Greetings from alicia
