O.K. Jessica cough it up...how do you do these awsome shots. The blue is the best. Please teach me.Z
Thanks! Actually, I have no idea how. Because of a recent discussion in the forum I'd wanted to try a photo like this. So I waited until it was dark, set my camera up on a tripod by the stream, and took a picture with the shutter open for a minute. (It was really dark by then!) And then afterward I lightened it slightly and ran it through a noise-reduction filter in Photoshop. There is still a lot of noise though. Since it was my first try I have no idea what I did right or wrong... we'll have to wait for more opinions.
Still not sure how to do that...I thought it was back lit.
cool photo, Jessica! LOL, I love silky water shots!
errie for sure....fantastic photo Jessica :o)
Thanks for your comments, Kamaly and Rom@nce, and for your suggestions Galatas. Next time I'll try a shorter exposure when it was still brighter, in a part of the stream that isn't so rough. I have to say I like my version better than yours though... remember, it was taken at quarter after ten in the evening. Yours could be in mid-afternoon. The noise seems better but a lot of detail is also gone. Anyway, that's only my opinion and I appreciate the help a lot! :)
Fantastic photo Jessica, lovely mood, really relaxing despite all the action. Best wishes, Fai
Very nice, Jess! Big thumbs up from lil' ol' me.
Thanks a lot, whoelius!
