Maybe ASIA from ASIA, because this part of the World was discovered by the Russians. Remember Alaska was LEASED, never sold, to the Gringos . So Historically even Alaska is Asian. Now politically everyone has their own opinion.

Where does carlosmante get the nutty idea that Alaska was leased? The Senate certainly thought it was being purchased when they ratified a treaty with Russia on 9 April 1867. The Russians certainly thought they were selling it when they ratified the treaty on 20 June 1867. The House certainly thought they were purchasing it when they approved spending $7.2 million for it in July, 1868. Tsar Alexander II wanted to sell Alaska because he felt it would be a tempting target for the increasing British population in Canada. Russia had fought a war against Britain in the Crimea a decade earlier, and Alexander felt he couldn't defend Alaska if Britain decided to attack it from Canada. He tried to sell it to the US in 1859, but the Civil War intervened. During the Civil War, Russia had been a supporter of the Union cause, while Britain had been a nearly-open enemy. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Purchase.
