Yes, wstay.com,I am not generally a religious person, but I must say, when I saw this sky, it made me think that there is so much more to life than the daily grind. There is so much beauty all around us, and I think Panoramio helps us open our eyes and souls and breath it all in... Thank you so much for your visit and taking the time to comment....much appreciated! Kind regards, Sue

Wow! What an incredible sky Sue. It reminds me a bit of sand dunes. :)

I hadn't thought of sand dunes, Billy.. My friend and I were looking at it upside down when we were taking photos of this sky, and I pointed out that it looked like the beach or a snow covered track, it was such a dense cloud formation..

The best sky I've ever seen in real life, for sure!

There are a couple of other photos of it on here, including one which got separated from the others, all tagged with sunset and sky, etc, but I daren't do a link or you'll think I'm pushy, I've aleady done two lots for you today! :D

Very best wishes, Sue

I did have a look at your other sunsets Sue, they're all very beautiful. You shouldn't feel using links is being pushy, it's helpful & I use them a lot! ;)

Goodness, how'd I miss all these lovely messages!?

Thanks, Jazz, so sorry to have not replied before now..yes, I can't wait to try out my new camera on a really lovely sunset like this one!

Mike, well a fat lot of good it was leaving me that message, as I've only just read it! Naughty me! Hey, mike, if you're reading this, I did a lot of train pictures, and I did a special one of the plate, showing where the train was made.. if you get a chance, maybe you could pop by and have a look! :)

Thank you Peter! yes, I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this sky. So many people were just stopping by the side of the road to take pictures too, it was a real 'show stopper'. I'm so glad you found this photo, and enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the lovely message...

Nick, I'm so honoured, I can feel a glow caused not only by the rather copious amounts of red wine I've consumed this evening, in the cause of enjoying the Christmas spirit of a group of friends. I'm truly happy that you liked this photo so much, and I'm also very glad I was out and about when this sunset was lighting up the heavens. I'd hate to have been inside doing the dishes and totally unaware of its passing!

My very best wishes to you all, and I hope you have a safe and peaceful and very happy festive season!

New camera, Sue! What have you got???

Cheers, Tony in New Zealand

Susan @llen, on December 23, 2008, said:

It's a little 10 megapixel Traveller I got from Alidis, Tony. I only paid $189 for it, and I got a charger, a car charger, a spare battery, a 1 gig memory card, and most importantly as far as I'm concerned, a zoom which actually zooms, although it's not perfect, but I love the way I can now crop a photo and it's not full of squares! Brilliant! I decided to not wait and get a bulky camera, as I never have the time to set up properly on a tripod or whatever, and I'm always too loaded up with stuff with the kids, so this one still fits in my pocket, but is a step in the right direction. It was my early Christmas present. Happy Christmas to me..:D

Great to hear from you, Tony, I hope you have a great day tomorrow!
