Daeheungsa is a Korean Buddhist temple within the confines of Tangeumsae Park in Chunju. Tangeumdae Park has a beautiful pine-tree-shaded circular walk with an earthen fortress, the place where Master Ureuk played the gayageum, and the site of General Sin Rip’s great battle of the Imjinweran during the first Japanese invasion of Korea in the 16th century.
