Man killed in fiery Nye County truck crash identified By Cristina Chang Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 | 1:08 p.m.
A man killed Tuesday in Nye County after his truck burst into flames has been identified as Keith Andrew Pruim, 44, of Las Vegas, officials said.
Pruim was driving a tanker truck north on State Route 160 about 2:50 p.m. when it ran off the shoulder and went over a guardrail, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.
The truck and its trailer went down a dirt embankment and overturned, officials said. Pruim was sitting in the truck when it was engulfed in fire, officials said.
Pruim was pronounced dead at the scene.
