ooohhhhhhhhhhh! you're really pulling out all the stops here! [note to self: I have 2 cats...I have 2 cats...I have 2 cats....2 is plenty. They wouldn't do well with the shipping process...]

OMG. congratulations to Angebelle - she sure produced some adorable kittens!

(and I hope gnarly knows that his new pair of odor-eaters sort of work by covering things up with a new odor!)

great photo G !

OK, back to work...[I have 2 cats...2 cats in a very small more cats...2 is enough...]

Note to self, I have 3 cats already, two's my limiit!

Mapleleaface and Beachbumkitty sure are cute and need new names.

Fantastic photo!!! So very cute. Maybe these two kitties have a career in fashion magazines!

Greetings from NC, Jean

Funny guys. As a footnote (couldn't help it) this pic was not rigged, they were busy chewing on the shoes so I laid on the floor and whistled for their attention. And Kamaly, they better not have!

Very charming scene!!!So beautiful!!!

Guy wants to buy something new for you two!! You'll see!

Guy, ooops, I mean Gnarly, What a riot that this wasn't posed. Hard to believe it, except for the fact that if you had decided to scoop them up and pose them like this, you probably could have spent hours at it, and still not gotten the shot! One would hop out one way, the other the other way, Brutus would come stick his nose in it...

Do they still fit in the dog bone box? Now, having them be jumping out of that window might be worth trying to do intentionally!

and I love how mapleleafface's nose is still so brown! I've never seen that before.

As I said earlier, I am not a "cat" person, but this is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen, and I mean of anything taken (even sunsets) It is just adorable. Love it, I guess when I win the cat naming comp. I will find out what it is like to own a cat. Well done Gnarly... Dianne

Funny, the link came from Someguyinmasset!!!!

someGuyinmasset on August 12, 2008

Will someone please give us better names?

kamalyn on August 12, 2008

OK, well since she earns extra points for being the first to offer up names, but if she's smart, Helen is probably asleep right now, I'll go ahead and copy her post from 'Lunchtime' here:

Helen Stalder, 9 hours ago, said:

Right now - let the games begin!! If I win I am going to donate the kitties back to Guy so no need for the air fare and camping is out, toooo many mosquitoes in your neck of the woods.

I think one should be called Bits and the other Pieces. Nothing sesquipedalian about that even when adding the ubiquitous Aussie style "y" = nothing wrong with Bitsy and Piecy

and the one wrinkle in moving this to gnarly's page is that it sort of puts his name out of the running, so I've got to change my nominations a little. So my own entries:

Electra and The Dude

gnarlysurferdude on August 12, 2008

Gnarly's Name the Kittens contest rules:

Must name both Kittens (white one female, dark male).

One entry per user, but may be changed until contest closes by deleting previous entry.

No whining someguyinmasset or you're out.

On the list, Kat, you can almost see the "Story in their Eyes**. I'm just hosting for Guy cause he's so busy.

Glad you liked the little fellows Jurgen.
