Red colour makes this composition more expressive, dear Marilyn! I like it!

Warm regards, Eva

Thank you, Eva. When I was a girl, my father, who took Kodachrome colour slides, always wanted me to wear a red shirt or jacket and to appear in his pictures looking at the scenery (not at the camera). So when I saw this fellow ...

Best wishes, Marilyn

I'm very glad, dear Marilyn, that I can understand your idea :)

Greetings from Kiev. Eva

Of course it was the village that I stopped at the beach to photograph--but you can see that the touches of red and of human interest have attracted more viewers than the "straight" photo.

The village was founded in 1853 by a group of Norwegians who were members of the Moravian Church. The steeple on the right is that of their church; the one on the left is the Lutheran church that was formed early in the history of the village. Bruce, you aren't all that far from one of the centers of the Moravian Church in the U.S. It's Salem, N.C. The other major one is Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
