dear miss cat, I had missed your comment so far. maybe you've come to France in the meanwhile, it was quite a long time ago ! greetings, Armagnac.
Greetings POM, another beautiful landscape. I imagine it to be very nice to drive through.
greetings Rich, thanks for visiting back :) the day I took that pic, I had done what you did in Japan : I woke up early and drove close to that little summit, then walked to way to the top (among cows and bulls, fortunately not too much interested into me), then waited there for the sun to appear, made many pics of the moutains around with a good 360° view (by that time I only had a little compact), and stayed there until I ran out of battery. Besides the cows, and that's a difference with your own experience, I saw no one, only a deer. But well it was not Mt Fuji :)
Beautiful landscape, it sure would be nice to walk around there. BTW, the frame looks nice here, it is fitting (even if I usually don't like frames and also only use frameless glass for the large pictures on my wall!)
many thanks emr, I'm glad you like this frame although you're a frame-hater :) I have fun myself trying to find frames that could fit ; at times it works !
I'd be curious to know what kind of pictures you put on your walls.
Mostly large prints of some of my best photos!
like ? you could have used a link ;)
For example those three:
3 and also some from the a picture a day collection - the plan is to change them, whenever I want, so I have 13 photos I can choose from :-)
Why so new ones? Because I just had my whole room painted newly, so the walls are now nice and white (before that there was a really ugly wallpaper in 1975-style) and now it's also time for new pictures!
by the way, I just spent these last days re-painting my house, and still have some works to do. I love white walls as well (maybe because I used to have some hideous psychedelic post-hippie brown and orange wallpaper in my room when I was a teenager, 1975 style :)
maybe you kept some image of your own ex-wallpaper ? it sounds funny.
I still have it in parts of my kitchen, and another one, just as ugly (=hideous psychedelic post-hippie brown and orange, 1975 style), in the other room. Maybe someday I'll make a photo of it.
well emr, just tell me when you post it, I don't want to miss that ! cheers, Pom'
Très belle vue !!!!!!!!!!Y.S.
Amicalement du Lot --Pierre
