Amazing LouisSaint! I have been to the petrified forest near Xhorixas in Damaraland, Namibia! All the trees there have been washed there millions of years ago from somewhere in mid - Africa! This one is in the place of origin! Thanks for sharing! Best regards from Johan in Cape Town!

Johan, I am glad you enjoyed the photo. This was a very unique place. There were several large petrified tree stumps to be seen there. This one is about twice the height of a man. All the best to you. -Andy
