Great bridge photo here Jim. This almost monochrome look works well too. Love the title! Were you tempted by the forum bridge competition then? I can see once you go down the line of having so many different tabs with different subjects, that you would be kept pretty busy keeping up with it all? All the best, again. Herb

Good grief Herb and Alan!! I so apologise for missing your comments ;>(
The river at this point is very shallow Herb and I paid the price by grounding the boat !! Took my eye off the echo sounder for only a minute too.
The viaduct is the place to be with your telephoto lens Alan. I'll check out the "Great Marquess" soon.
ricard saenz-thank you so much for your complimentary remarks ;>)
>| Micha |<-I admire the skills of the engineers, the surveyors and craftsmen whose extraordinary skills were responsible for constructing this railway viaduct about 170 years ago ;>)
Many thanks for stopping by ;>)
Kind regards to you all;
Jim

My sincere apologies for this very late reply my friend..I give no lame excuse..only my apology..
These old brick arches are a masterpiece in brickwork..the men whose skills assembled the viaduct were the very best artisans!
I recently discovered a very old photograph of this viaduct//You can see it just HERE
Many thanks for your good wishes Alireza and warm regards to you..
Jim
