Blithfield Reservoir is a large drinking water reservoir in South Staffordshire, England, owned by South Staffordshire Water.
It is the site of a nature reserve, operated by the West Midland Bird Club. Entry to the reserve is by permit only, but much of the open water is visible from the road causeway which crosses the reservoir (grid reference SK055235), and there is access to the dam end of the reservoir.
This Picture is a panoramic view taken from the road that intercects the reservoir.
Hi, Chris. I like this excellent pano. It remembers me at this evening at a lake, where I'm sitting very often to look at sunsets. Greetings from Hamburg, Klaus
Thank you for your kind comments Klaus, I have had a look at your excellent photos too, you certainly have some talent and an eye for a great picture.
What you can't see on this photo unless you look very very closly was the incredible number of biting mosquitos taking lumps of my flesh while i stood taking this 6 shot panorama. We all suffer for our art I guess, lol. Keep Shooting Klaus, thanks so much, Chris
