Hello fai, Havent had the time for it recently and the weather has just been too bad and too wet for taking photos. Soon the autumn colours will be visible in the woods around here and hopefully better weather will arrive.(but I'm not holding my breath)

Cheers. ----Jim

The situation has got worse if anything Fai. The only consolation is that we are not suffering a drought and lives are not under threat as such.

Roll on winter. :D ---Jim

Hi Jim

A month ago or so you asked me about a scanner, I had just bought one and scanned some of my uncles old slides. I have now tried the scanning of the 35m film and think the results are much better than scanning from a picture.

I found a picture I took in September 1989 and it is from much the same position as yours and here and here it is as an example!

The big problem is attraction of dust but you can remove the worst in photoshop.

All the Best Peter
