Oh my, now there's a few memories all packed into one photo! As a child, this was one of my favourite summertime spots at Killbear! I used to know just about every rock and tree out at that point! Good catch :)
All the best from Saskatchewan, Bryan
Bryan, I'm very happy you know & like it! - I passed there only once on a beautiful day in early fall, but I'd definitely go back anytime... Only now do I notice how the horizon leans to one side & the trees should probably lean more towards the left!
Yes, all the trees there have a distinct lean to them. My sister and I used to play out at this point all the time. We named the cove to the right "Echo Cove" because of the excellent early morning acoustics. Thanks for the memories!
I have not been here, but as you know, so many view up there are as eye pleasing as this one.
Great photo. Like the Georgian Bay and Muskoka vistas.
For a few years we went to visit my husband's cousin in Gravenhurst. Her youngest son lived in a remote cottage in the Parry Sound area. This photo reminds me of our vacations up there, great shot.
I love the bush country!
Thank you very much Doerthe! This picture was from our first visit in Parry Sound in 2006. Our latest visit was this summer and we hope to do one more Camping trip this season! Cheers! Auggie
LG Auggie
