all the years we visited Castle Farm, we never thouhght of going up to thr castle, although my grandfather-in-law must have fsrmed the land, the farm was a historic building in its own right, with crog loft, chamber, and open to the sky fireplace with kettle suspended on a chain and seated on the settle, today it would have been a listed building.
