F tearing down Carlson's corner! Why fix something that isn't broken? Shark Attack, your Cedarcroft pics touched me deeply. My Grandfather drew the plans for that Cedarcroft clubhouse in the 40's and He and my Grandma had a house 2 lots away from it on Cedarcroft Drive for 50 years. Now a Butt-ugly monster stands in its place (hope it's not yours) I spent my childhood on that beach and hanging out on those yellow benches. We had total run of that lagoon, and skated from one end of the river to the other in the winter, back in the 70's when it froze several feet thick. Teenagers would drive their hot-rods on that ice, while we youngsters watched in amazement. They would have huge bonfires in the middle of the river and bring kegs out there while they sped around in their cars doing doughnuts on the ice. Those were the good old days!
