The hills around Siquijor are not very high or rugged but can be very steep and slippery for a safe mountain climbing. And because of its natural steep terrain, very few of these hills are also agriculturally developed or even populated. Which means, only a few hiking trail for the adventurists. If you love hiking and still wants to do it here, there is only one safe rule to follow. If one get lost, just walk and follow a straight direction all the way. In less than a day, you will end up in a shoreline somewhere. Follow the shorelines. It will get you to a resort somewhere. Go inside the resort, into their bar. Have an ice-cold San Miguel.
When in Basac be sure to visit Des & Ester Quinn at Chappys Beer Garden. The SMGs are ice cold and the company's excellent. Doesn't matter where you're from you'll feel right at home.
