These rice terraces are among a few of its kind in Siquijor Island. It is located in the high Hills of Capalasanan where strangely enough, there is an abundance of spring waters which can irrigate the ricefields all year round, even under an abbreviated rainfall. The hills around these fields are almost at the highest point on the Island but it never runs dry of water as many points in the lower elevations do. Their Gods of Rain must be watching over them up here.
