Well done Marilyn. You've got a good mix of lights and darks with no part of the shot falling so deeply into shadow that its detail is lost. For me, its the lighting in this one.

Yes, it's the light, and you would recognize that, Hank. I love this view, and I'd even stopped once earlier this summer and taken a few shots, but they were nothing to post. This particular evening, as I went back to the car, I wanted to try another angle, but the lighting was already gone.

The most wonderful time of day, and such a beautiful setting.
Excellent capture, Marilyn, and a snazzy title as well.
I hope this evening finds you well.
Best regards,

Yes, as Hank said, the lighting and so much detail too! All those little white daisy flowers shine out beautifully. A wonderful photo, Marilyn. Well done again!

Thanks, Sue. There is a barrier at the edge of the parking area (which is just a widened place in the road), and on the barrier it says not to cross it ... but it's still a long way to the edge of the steep cliff. I'm glad if you think it was worth going around the end of the barrier. I just couldn't get a well-composed shot without doing that! Cheers, Marilyn
