This is the main entrance gate to Subiaco Football Oval, otherwise known as the 'House of pain.' The plaque near the right corner of the limestone wall reads: "Subiaco Municipality - This entrance building was erected to celebrate the Jubilee of His Majesty King George V. October 1935." Were the very low ticket windows especially designed for dwarfs? The stadium in the background is a much more recent edifice. For more information go to Fremantlebiz - 20 August 2008.
