Thank you for your kind remarks. As far as I understand it's an area with meadows that during winter time is partially covered with seawater. The area was formed under the last ice age and is very rich on chalk. The road you see is the only way to the island and it runs trough a bird sanctuary. You can see a bird watching tower next to the road.
