Hanson Creek! This is the start of the Francis Lake Canoe Route which follows Hanson Creek about 18 kilometers to Frances Lake. Be warned! 4 portages and 24 Beaver Dam hauls, and during low water slogging through mud. The upside? Frances Lake is the friendliest Lake I've encountered, you can hike for miles along the flat rocky shoreline.
