Brings back memories

Shelldrake4 on August 3, 2009

I spent a couple of months training with the 2/11 Field Artillery while I was in the Australian Army.

The Ausi Army folks were always a blast to train with. I remember the parties more than the training tho, lol.

We also had a great time. Made some lifelong friends while I was there. Great experience. And yes, the parties were lots of fun.

Well, I may be wrong, but was sure it was the PX. It is a long time since I was there. I was part of an exchange trip between the US and Australia around Easter 1975. I still have a certificate of training from the Commanding General, 25th Infantry Devision.

HI there. Just wanted to let you know that is not the px on schofield barracks. Been here 3 years and thats not it. thanks

You are probably correct, but this photo was taken nearly 40 years ago. I believe that it was once the PX, but I could be wrong. Been trying to find out but records are hard to find.
