This wasn't a factory. It's Shaftesbury House which was a hostel for homeless men in the Leeds area. It was closed in the late 70's and I believe it's being considered as the site for new enviromentally friendly apartments!

Shaftesbury house closed in the late 90's it was a hostel for both men and women opening in 1937. Built on the site of Hillside school playing fields and just over the road from the holbeck workhouse.
