beautiful poetic image.
I know from the history
George Gordon Byron
Kartson You honour me with references to Lord Byron.I have though some Byronic tendency in my own nature toward the artistic. But like Byron wealth eludes me.
This image of Sunset over East Anglia would have been similar in Byron's time, but for the great scars wrought by jet trails of today's speeding travelers.
Respect and Honour
Beautiful colours of sky. Greetings Marita
Lovely sky Peter. The title suggests "red sky at night, farmer's/sailor's/shepherd's delight" - did it rain?
Helen Well done you got it. Yes the old rhyme Red sky at night Shepherds delight, on this occasion failed to come true. It rained stair rods the next day, not mention the mess the bloody cats and dogs made:)
Hows winter down under. Summer here is rubbish in August we had upto 300% the normal monthly rain fall. So far for September we have had the average already.:(
Yes have heard August has been awful in the UK and the sun did not shine at all. August has been very cold in Melbourne. Only 6 degrees C so far this morning. We had snow in the Dandenong Ranges (foothills) in August, only about 40km from Melbourne. Our dams are only 32% and we are on water restrictions. Might get tougher this summer. I might never be able to wash the windows again!!!
stunnin sky !

FLM I was so disappointed to find as yet no pictures in your gallery.
But also feel greatly honoured that you have only made one comment and that was to a photo from my gallery.
