Joaquín Ramirez on March 23, 2007

Enhorabuena.

Just wanted to say the oak is placed at a farm called Halstvedt (my home:)

I like it. It is beautiful tree salud

This beautiful photograph is a monochrome, then we can better concentrate on the shape of the figure: essential but very strong tree. The enlargement of the branches, on the base of the tree, gives more empathy. The incredible roots of this creature distort the ground around it and he(he) is able to live towards an empty space behind the hill (we can see the top of an other tree). You design a tree, you are that tree. One of the best in Panoramio. Congratulation Snemann.

Thanks, epi and others! It is satisfying that you like these trees as much as I do.

Look's like middle format, but the quality says: "It's digital!"

Nice photo!

Excellent shot! Do you know how old the tree is?

Snemann on October 10, 2007

perkins 4: I would guess at 200 years +/- but it could very well be older than that.

Blieve me that some times B&W photos influence much more than colored ones.Great
