Hi Jim, I just made a few panorama pictures on my own. That work made me appreciate even more what you do!

Panoramas are one of the things that made me switch from film. I love being able to create pictures that would be impossible with older technology. This one took my powerful 8 core Mac Pro many hours to complete runnning AutopanPro, but the results were worth it.

Jim, my equipment, programs and knowledge are no mach to yours, so please continue doing what you do. Many of us will come to enjoy your work.

Your explanation regarding the transition from film to panorama makes perfectly good sense. Your crop and picture sizing looks great on today’s monitors and I think people will enjoy visiting your pictures for years to come. Gabe your pictures for years to come.

This is the largest panorama I've made so far - 30 shots combined to create a 1.4 gig picture stitched with AutopanoPro. See this crop to view a small area near the summit showing 5 climbers. Taken from the summit of 2nd Burroughs Mt.
