Guge Kingdom castle against dark blue Tibetan sky. Behind the camera was a small village which was the closest human habitat to the castle. It was hard to tell if the villagers were the descendants of the long lost Guge Kingdom. The Guge castle on Tsaparang hill was divided into three parts at different hights. At hill foot, there were humble dwellings, usually caves. In the middle, temples. The king's palace was at top which could only reach through a tunnel from the castle's rest area. (shot by my friend)
