Yes, I was lucky, as you can see from the sky it was one of those dark days again. That large yellow thing in the sky was only out for two minutes so I had to take the photo very quickly:) Kind regards to both , Anita

Hello Marilyn, I'm afraid the railway through Hawes is closed down now. The Railway station is now a museum. Coaches now bring visitors into the village but the car is by far the best mode of transport. The outdoor type would really enjoy walking in this area because the views are ever changing.
