I was cruising down the west coast one time and arrived here in Morro Bay. The rock is quite unusual although a good place for a wander. This hill was only a 5 minute walk although provided this remarkable view. Shame I didn't get the settings right to compensate for the varying sunlight conditions as I rotated the camera.

The name of hill is "Black Hill". It's one of the "7 Sisters". Nice pano.

What kind of camera did you use? Most digital cameras (some film camera too, if thats what you use)have a panorama assist or manual mode that maintains the same light conditions throughout the capturing.

Scenery camera - I just used a compact digital. Nothing special. All of my photos are just taken with an Olympus 4 megx pixel compact. I can't even remember the name of the model off hand. The problem with that photo was that by turning around 360 degrees I was at some points literally facing the sun which caused some grief.

Judith - Thank you. It was a great spot to be. Tragically, that image was stitched together by name in MS Paint (I know.. I know.. tragic..). Oh well, we use the tools we have available!
