pretty mummie!!!! ...
Thanks Carlo - she's beautiful! :)
Hi Jessica! At the beginning, I believed that you had shot this photo in Spain. I was amazed to see that it was in Canada. Congratulations for this international photo.
Hi Bernard! Cows are a fairly international subject. This picture might as well have been taken in Spain, or Texas, or anywhere where cattle is common. While driving through Cypress Hills there were several times when we had to stop to allow herds of cattle to cross the road. An interesting experience, anyway!
Hi Jessica! Me too, I stopped to allow passing a herd of cows. It was last June, in Ardèche, a department in the center from France. It was not completely the same cows, nor the same landscapes as to you. But I thought of being closer to landscapes from Canada than to Spain. We can see things like that, may be.
Oh goodness . . . I can't believe they are not in a fence. They are just free to roam right out into the street? Amazing.
What a darling shot. I love cows.
Very best regards,
Yes, the cattle had right-of-way on this road! It was a gravel road out in the middle of nowhere, though, so the amount of traffic must be small enough to make it safe. We drove for what must have been a couple of hours without seeing another vehicle.
These cows are gorgeous!! The contrast between the black and golden colours are magnificent!
Interesting that they're on the road like that. I've seen something similar in northwest MT. Were there cattle guards to keep them within the farmer's land?
There are fences surrounding the property, and Texas gates across the road.
