Don't worry, the equestrian statue (I had to translate your comment, so forgive me if the answer is not accurate) is still there. I was taking the picture with it on my back (and actually standing a bit on top of it's base). I'll soon be adding some more pictures featuring a wider perspective of Avenida dos Aliados ;)
