You can only get here by jeep or dune buggy and the road is rough, but the Mayan ruins on the north side of Cozumel are beautiful and seldom visited. Currently Donald Trump is trying to buy land on this side of the island to build mega-resorts, something nobody on the island wants. Donald go home! Leave our little island alone!

photo is El Castillo which is further north. The location marker needs to be moved further to the north. El Castillo is 17 Kilometers from Mescalitos. By the way the road is Closed to all traffic. Been that way for nearly two years.

Thanks agustus49. I moved the market north, but its hard to tell exactly where it should be. Google Earth has a higher res image on that side of the island now, so maybe we're closer.
