Greetings Ian, thanks for the visit. You are right, Lebanon Cedar is very beautiful tree, and they have several magnificent ones in the park. I enjoyed every time I looked at them.

Cheers

Fantastic photo, Mira.

The eye is immediately drawn to the magnificent tree with the strange shape framed perfectly by the bushes on either side.. Then on closer inspection, we see the spectacular Chateau. Perfect composition dear Mira. Simply perfect.

Also like your other shots of the Chateau.

Best wishes, Leo

You came here trough the bark photo, Leo? I am so glad that you did! This is a very old and beautiful Cedar of Lebanon, and also very beautiful park that surrounds this very interesting castle. I visited this place two years in a row and came to like the place and people there very much. Thanks for opening the other photos of the castle too, they are all from the last year, and I will probably have a couple of new ons to post soon! :)

Best wishes, Mira

I'm glad, too, that I followed the trail to this series, Mira. I love the French Chateaux very much.

We toured the Loire Valley with another couple years ago and visited 13 Chateaux in two days. I took lots of photos but, sadly they did not scan well and are not fit to post here. I'll just have to go back.

Best wishes, Loe

The best thing to do is to go back and take some more photos Leo! But you will definitely need more than two days for 13 chateaux! :))) I hope Henry will let you two go away! ;)

Greetings, Mira

Mira,

I have put this on my "bucket list" along with about 1000 other things to do before I take my last photo. Next time, I will take my time and smell the roses.

Henry will just have to go live with Brent for a while. Don't know if Meryl can be away from him for that long, though.

Greetings, Leo

Beautiful image, Mira, wish I could be there - touch and smell this magnificent stately tree - imagine the history it has looked upon :O)

The next time will come, and then take your time Leo! :) I hope that Meryl also like Europe and France, enough so she can be without Henry for a while.

Greetings to both (pardon me, all three) of you! :)

Mira

Dear Suzi, I always have the same wish, and that is what I very often do, to touch and smell them! :) All trees are my friends, only some have seen the history, and others will see it. I am so glad to know that you like this ancient one! :))

Best wishes, Mira

Mira,

We will have to come back. We were there for five+ years and that was not nearly long enough! And we will take our time.

Greetings, Leo

I am absolutely with you on that, Leo! :))

Greetings, Mira
