Thank you Aender. It's like you have already voted! It's true that blue and white prevail in Greek island architecture, but this is not the way it was many years ago. Greeks have started to apply lime plaster on the house walls and the streets, in mid 20th century, for sanitary reasons. This gave villages a new good look, which was adapted as a novelty and (I 'm afraid) as a touristic attraction... It still looks good though, especially in small standalone chappels.

Is this building was in movie of big blue... It was jacks, his father's and his uncel's house...Of course it is a historical church but it looks like a place from famous movie... I will visit there... thanks for this beautiful photo. Volkan from Turkey
