Thanks Tony, Steve and Luka for your visit and precious comments. Steve, I really sympathise with you - 'no rain'. I wouldn't know how to live without having rain gear. In actual fact, I reasoned today that out of the last 360 days at least 300 were grey and damp. I will gladly give you some of ours. At least you won't get S.A.D disease. Cheers to you all. Herb

Oh wow, what a photo, Herb! I just love those dark, solid clouds swirling around - you can really feel the speeding up movement in the sky as the storm reaches you! Excellent! I would have been here before now, but somehow I missed out on an alert that you had posted these photos, and just came ambling across to see your gallery.

I have to say, your photos are very special, Herb..

very kind regards,

Sue

What a great shot Herb, I'm so glad I stumbled over here! The light is amazing, I love the feeling of things moving quickly and almost anxiety! We get near as much rain as you do. I do get SAD in the winter, a little, but getting outside with the camera helps quite a bit. I have a similar shot that you may enjoy but your clouds are much more immediate! Best regards from Vancouver Canada.

Thank you so much Nawitka (what a beautiful name!) I'm really pleased that you like this and some of my other pictures so much. Yes these clouds heralded storms but they make for great pictures, don't they. I see you have the same taste. Please come again. Б.Ярцев It did! -Thank you also for your visit. Sue Allen and Wernerandreas, thank you also for your comments. Please visit again.

Cheers Herb
