Is each silo owned by a different farm?
Cheers, Tony in New Zealand
Thank you, Tony, for your questions. They make me feel I wasn't too self-indulgent in posting these!
This picture shows two farms. They're on the same road, and we're looking at them from the nearby side road. The farm at the left has two silos (plus an old round corn crib covered in vines), while the farm at the right has a multiplicity of storage containers including the modern dark blue metal silo. The two tallest silos are very similar, but each of the others is different: whatever was in style at the time each was erected!
Beautiful. In Italy ther's another kind of style for silos. I have posted some agricultural photos of Italy if you like.

Thank you, Luca, for the comment and the link to your fine photos. Marilyn
I'm sorry Marilyn, this should would be much better with towering cumulus in the background. Shame. Shame.
Sorry, Dann. I'm about ready to return to Canada, but I'll try again next year.
;) I was only joking.
Thank you, blai, for the suggestion. I did it and I saw much more than I had ever seen before!
Those remind me the ones I saw in Pennsylvania.
Beautiful scenery. The brown and green fields, the silos and the clouds above of them. Great! nik
Thanks, nik for checking this out. It's a typical Wisconsin ("America's Dairyland") scene but it's common other places, too. Marilyn
