400 feet of steep stairs, no railing, badly eroded, very dangerous, at the top it's 700 feet to the beach. DO NOT attempt to climb these, it's not worth it. Winds can be very strong. However, the lookout just south at next bluff is Little DS lookout. After CalTrans finishes repairing and fortifying the cliffs in front of both of these locations, one can reach the southern site.
