A beautiful composition Marilyn, lovely reflections too. The deserted spaces do provide an end of season feeling. Best wishes, Fai

Thank you, Fai and picsonthemove.
I guess I thought of the title because it's the end of the season for us, too. Thursday we head home to Canada from our summer home in the US--a little earlier than usual in order to attend a baby shower for our first grandchild, due late next month. That's a wonderful reason to be leaving, but I always hate to go away from this beautiful place.

No more boats. That's really heading to fall.A little sad ,but a very nice shot.
That's mean you are home now,Marilyn? I can understand very well the excitement you are living.Cheers,Daniela

Thanks, Daniela. We've reached Ottawa where both our sons and daughters-in-law live, and we'll get home on Monday. Fortunately the weather was cloudy, cool, and a bit damp as we left. That made it feel more fall-like, and a little easier to leave. Cheers, Marilyn

Greetings Marilyn, How sad to see such a pretty dock void of boats and activity. Such a nice area. I guess autumn is coming. I've even seen yellow trees on my drives to and from work. To soon I think for many of us. I look forward to the snows up high. Maybe I will get my camera back by then.
Cheers,
Rich

For me it's too soon, too, Rich. We also saw a few signs of autumn on our trip back home yesterday. But I'm looking forward to your pictures once you get into this season's snow! What's the story with your camera?
