WOW!!! I was born about a mile from the airport, when it was still active as a civilian airport, and I remember these types of pictures with much delight. This is an old photograph, a real fossil. Please tell me how you came about to obtain this picture, look at the fact that there are no jetways.

I used to go to this airport as a Kid... and by then TACA did have some jets... BAC111's... And that was back in the early 70's... so this one is from WAAAAAY back then... Great one!

This Vickers Viscount was the first airliner I remember flying. We took a family vacation to Miami in 1973 and flew it. If "Anliker" has more photos of this era in San Salvador, I'd love to see them.
