The water was full of them. It was actually pretty cool to swim in - sort of felt like being brushed up against by Jello!

Yep - It's on the Atlantic side of the cape, and tons of stuff wash up here. From the way they described it, seems my sister and her family saw a Lion's Mane jelly washed up earlier in the week ( 'It was a really weird one! All red and stuff.') The other strange thing going on was that it's apparently Horseshoe crab molting season - so tons of them were washing up, making the beach look like it was scattered with dead ones. Photo to the left of this now. I know I got a close-up or two of them. Need to find them ( I was going to make a 3D.)

Well, off to close out the 'official' summer season with a Labor Day visit to Godzilla, looking for another evening snack accompanied by Venus.
