Sometimes, and fifteen years after the end of the war, pieces of bricks fall...

If bricks falls, after fifteen years, your country should renovate water tower,if they do not have money, there are so many funds for you in European Union, and much more world organizations. Best regards!

Hi, Stojakovic, I was thinking this water-tower was left in that situation as a symbol of the resistance of the inhabitant of Vukovar. It's probably now a monument. How fool can be mankind. Best regards, Papymaj

It probably is monument, but even monument needs to be maintained so it can be left to generations to come.My post was replica for this picture headline...No hard fillings. All best,Papymay

Sorry mister Stojakovic, My intention was certainly not to be rude. And you're perfectly right : this tower needs to be maintained ! I was just deploring the war's destructions, and all the trouble for civilian people... All the best to you !

This water tower is left broken as a monument of war and it will never be repaired again. Just a bit for the reason of safety.

Thank you all people for your interesting comments, for the next generation, it's important to keep a proof of war like that.

Nice picture. I saw this water tower in 1995 and then it was in much better condition, but with smaller holes.
