On the foreground is a fountain that was formerly lost and forgotten, and only rediscovered at the bottom of the water in approx. 1999. In the back is a replica of the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (United Eastindies Company)) ship "de Amsterdam", that was lost at sea and found in the 80's. It is now part of the permanent exhibition at the Scheepvaart (Shipping-) museum (not on the picture). Behind it is the navy territory that is obfuscated in Google Maps and Google Earth along with the museum.
