For all the kind people who left messages of support over the threats of closure of our local church! The congregation has now got a lawyer and the issue has now been referred to the Vatican in Rome! The Church has been granted a temporary reprieve until the case is heard. There are some complex issues regarding ownership of the building, My Greatgrandparents (Among others) having a claim! I will try to give updates as I get to know, for the people who showed support!

Hello Paula, sorry to see that your church is under threat, around 4 RC churches closed in Huddersfield recently, and not all of them had small congregations. I was told by someone that there is a shortage of priests. However my church Elim Pentecostal Huddersfield has just moved into new premises and the congregation is growing!

Thank you Woodmanshack, the church is still open up to now, it may be many months before the issue is resolved. They do have a dedicated congregation here!
