Hi Juergen, thanks for your visit. I don't think there is a night mode on my camera (there is a night portrait mode). I tried the same shot without the flas, but I think it is more interesting with it. It was nearly pitch dark when the shot was taken. Yes, that is the lens's shadow, maybe I should have cropped it ;)
Thanks, Fai

I see Juergen, there is nothing like that on the dial, maybe there is a colour setting. This was taken in AV mode with a flash. Best wishes, Fai

OH my god, I am such an idiot, I spent the last few minutes scouring your photo for a 'duck' which I thought was descending into this pond, when in fact, it is 'dusk' which is descending!! Ha ha ah!
What I was going to say was, that I do very much like the way you have the grass in focus in the foreground. It makes it so unusual, and stands out against the inky darkness very well. Oh no, I can't write any more, my tummy is shivering as I want to burst out laughing at my stupidity, but I have to keep quiet as everyone is asleep. Torture!!!
Very best wishes to you, Fai, sorry about my silly mistake!

Thanks a lot Marcel.
Thanks Sue lol, you never know, there might be a duck or two in shot, but it would be just a slither of light because of the 25 second exposure for this one. Thanks for your comment about the grass, Panoramio is a strange place, you need striking thumbnails to get people's attention, and that in my opinion is one way to do it.
Best wishes, Fai
