This is Fingal's Cave and it was taken in the early sixties. The paddle steamer, Waverley, normally anchored off Staffa and conveyed passengers in small red launches to the cave.

The Blue Dot on GE is placed by the Island of Lunga. GE has wrongly labeled Lunga as Staffa. Staffa is a few miles to the southeast lost under cloud
