Thanks for your very nice comment Jean. I got a wee prize for this shot, a countryman of yours got a wee prize Here. a bit north of here, but he really should have got a very big prize.:-) cheers scally.
I won a wee prize for this one Jean, Many thanks for your YSL. A bit north of here a fellow Countryman of yours won a wee prize HERE. But it should have been a very BIG one. :=)) Cheers scally.
I have only glimpsed this place when passing on the road, but when the light is right the view from above this same road of your 'Rock' can be fantastic. cheers scally.
I hope you did not need to pay to get in here Joe? before the War , large families were happy to live in accommodation like this. celebrated in song ' the wee room beneath the stairs'. we just called it a 'Dunnie' :-) cheers scally.
I didn't pay to get into St Andrews Castle, Scally, as it was covered in scaffolding.I took THIS SHOT from an angle that cut out most of the scaffolding. I visited a few castles last year, and I think CRAIGMILLAR CASTLE was the only one that didn't have scaffolding. Cheers, Joe
